Thank You Zanzibella Team for unforgettable memories We explored the beach using scooters rented from the hotel. The food was delicious! The cooks are up to the task and will prepare anything you can imagine. Dinner, which my partner ordered for me on the beach, was extraordinary and all this to the rhythm of African songs which Team Zanzibella served for me. The atmosphere in the hotel is very friendly and naturally homely, but at the same time uninhibited. Our stay was for one day, we were afraid that this is a new hotel and we did not want to take the risk, but during our stay we decided to extend our stay. The hotel very well organizes trips for example to Mnemba, Spice Farm, Stone Town - all this with a licensed tour guide. Do not be fooled by excursions offered on the beach by beach boys, it is quite dangerous, because as soon as something happens, then none of them is responsible. Apartments in the hotel are spacious and minimalistically decorated - there is everything you need. The bed is large and very comfortable. I slept like a small child:) We liked Zanzibella so much that we are planning to organize a wedding there. We dream about boho style with African accents and they said that they will plan everything for us and we don't have to worry about anything. Revelation! Babalao Bungalows has free bikes, outdoor swimming pool, a garden and shared lounge in Nungwi. Featuring a restaurant, the property also has a terrace and a bar. Everything. Max (the host) made my stay very comfortable. The place is a mini paradise, great value for money and so beautiful. The breakfast was amazing. They make delicious food and it's affordable. The rooms are so beautiful and everything works perfectly. It's close to the beach and other attractions are a few minutes away (the turtle marine, horses) This will definitely be my home whenever I visit nungwi. And the wifi is strong, in and outside of the room

Mahali Zanzibar er í Paje, Zanzibar, og er með einkaströnd, útisundlaug sem er opin allt árið og ókeypis WiFi. Hótelið býður upp á sólarverönd og útsýni yfir hafið. The biggest 2 trumps of Mahali Zanzibar were the location and most importantly, the people! Firstly, it's located in the middle of everything, right on the beach and in the middle of Paje beach overlooking the ocean, just a few min walk away from the little market and grocery store. Secondly, the staff in Mahali - every single one of them was such a sweetheart! They were very welcoming and so personal and that in the most positive meaning of this word. People were always smiley, positive and always ready to help whenever you needed it. What's more, the place itself is really nice and clean as well and as I already said it had a nice view over the beach. The room was super spacious. They made our beds, changed towels and cleaned the room every day. This is all really nice! However, more of a luxury. We would have been totally fine with the same towels since it would be better to save water :D But all in all I don't whine.. The only thing that was little funny, not that it was something I did not like, but I was not used to this, was the breakfast. The food itself was delicious and you were able to order literally everything you wanted from the menu, but the way it was organised was strange. We knew that the breakfast was included in the stay, but they did not explain how does it work, if I was able to order a specific amount of items from the menu or there was no limit. Maybe this is something I would recommend them to rethink or at least explain to guests. After we understood though, we just ordered almost everything from the menu every morning. Just the first interaction with the staff at the breakfast table was funny. :)

Baobab Africa Lodge Zanzibar er staðsett í Mtende, 35 km frá Zanzibar Butterfly Centre og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garði og verönd. I travelled with my kids and to be honest this place did not feel like a lodge or hotel, it felt like home away from home. Everyone from the owners Eric and Sophie to all the staff were so warm, friendly and welcoming. They made it so hard for us to leave. We really enjoyed our vacation and we will for sure go back there. Thank you to all of the Lodges staff and a big thank you to Eric and Sophie for make our trip a memorable one. We will always remember this holiday.

TIANDE Boutique Hotel er staðsett í Pwani Mchangani, 300 metra frá Pwani Mchangani-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garði og verönd. The property is so pretty- the gardens are beautiful and it’s a quick walk to the beach. Although TianDe isn’t directly on the beach, Mariola (the owner) has a friendly relationship with a neighboring hotel that is first row, so guests can spend time there during the day. The bar and restaurant area are lovely and the food is yummy and fresh- we tried breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool is sparkling, and the staff is warm and hard-working. Our room was clean and comfortable, with A/C, tea/coffee, good shower, nice decor. Mariola and her boyfriend live on site- they are doing a fantastic job running TianDe with a lot of hard work and love. We wish them success and will recommend to TianDe to anyone traveling to Zanzibar.

Sunny Villa Matemwe er með útisundlaug, verönd, veitingastað og bar í Matemwe. Great place to stay, staff were very friendly and accomodating. rooms very spacious, nice pool and the food was also very good.

Daniel Zanzibar Hotel er staðsett í Nungwi, 600 metra frá Royal-ströndinni, og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garð og verönd. A quiet, peaceful and cozy place. Everything is clean, the room and pool. Breakfast with different pastries, fresh juice different dishes, Big greetings to the staff.

Haber Hotel & SPA er staðsett í Matemwe, 600 metra frá Matemwe-ströndinni, og býður upp á gistingu með ókeypis reiðhjólum, ókeypis einkabílastæði, útisundlaug og garði. Great and pleasant service. Good food with recipes brought from Poland by owners who have one of the most famous restaurants there. Breakfasts are great and huge - you won't be hungry until early dinner. It's feeling safe and you don't have to worry about your possessions or money getting stolen. The owners are on the premises every day and will interact with you to help you plan your excursions, advise which ones to avoid and find trusted local guides they worked with before so you don't have surprises during any of your excursions. The owners can also recommend food or arrange for something that's not on the menu - I was very satisfied with those alternatives, super tasty.
